Skis
Skis have evolved tremendously over the last 10 years. The amounts of choices are becoming endless as are the questions: What are the best skis? What type of ski should I be skiing? How do I choose a ski? What brands should I shop for? K2, Rossignol, Salomon, Kastel or a Blizzard are all names I recognize.
To best answer these questions you need to first ask yourself the following:
1. What kind of skier am I? (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced)
2. What kind of terrain do I like to Ski? (Groomers, all over the mountain, park and pipe, crud, powder)
3. What part of the country am I going to be skiing the most? (Sidecut and width can impact turns on powder and/or icy conditions)
4. Do I want a versatile ski or do you want your ski to excel in a specific area such as powder, pipe and park, or groomers?
